Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding Tiktok links: why do even big models put link to instagram, not to OF, will the reach decrease?
What are the disadvantages of putting linktree/some link aggregator in the bio after account has hit 1k followers?

One, link is visible in source code.
You need cloaking link service to do that.
I am working on one, but it's time of few weeks.

Linktree, link agregators are not prepared to mask your link. TikTok bot is opening site in headless, download your source code and it see "onlyfans". Also it's following all redirects ;)

so this method may be used because it is healthier

Big creators link ınstagram because its safer and boosts engagement OF links can get restricted or shadowed.
Using linktree after 1k is fine, but some reach might drop slightly since tiktok prefers direct links over aggregators.

Adding a landing page helps keep their accounts safe since TikTok doesnt directly allow users to click a clink and then have it directed right away to the OF platform.

Big models often link to Instagram rather than OnlyFans to reach a broader audience and maintain a mainstream image, and using a link aggregator like Linktree after reaching 1,000 followers can dilute engagement and authenticity, potentially limiting click-through rates.

Big creators prefer linking Instagram because TikTok treats it as a safer non adult link that doesn’t hurt reach
Linktree or similar tools can reduce visibility since TikTok may flag external links as promotional

affiliate links or basically any link that promotes another business in any way will negatively affect the algorithm

i think..

i think any link that promotes any business/website other than the ones tiktok allows and/or knows would most likely hurt engagement

Yeah thats usually how it plays out. Tiktok gets cautious with anything it cant classify, so unfamiliar links tend to drag reach down a bit.

Many use ınstagram since its more reliable for growth, and a direct link can prevent potential algorithm issues compared to using an aggregator.

Direct links to trusted platforms usually perform better using an aggregator can be convenient, but tiktok algorithm sometimes favors straightforward URLs for higher reach.
