[ASK] SeoPressor, does it worth to buy ?

a couple of months ago, tan had this plugin as a wso for $3.97. Don't know if it is still available, but you might want to check it out.

It think it's overpriced for what it does. It should cost less than half of what it does.

Probably good for newbies who still have to learn a lot about on-page SEO. I have earlier version and it doesn't do very good as it doesn't analyze the big picture of the page, only for the post without calculating the template effect to SEO. Get IBP over this if you want accurate results.

Hey pucky -

Just because it doesn't look like a blog doesn't mean it's not. Add /wp-admin to the end of the url and you will see that it is.

Pucky is right, its not a WP blog

I did try this tool and it is bullshit. Use your keyword in h1, h2, h3, ul, strong, and i - tag, all links nofollow and some over 250 words and you get the score of 100%, but it wont assure you a top position. :ouch:

ul and i helps seo?? i havent heard this before and want to make sure before i go and do it to all of my sites.

why all links nofollow?
just links pointing out or links pointing to the site.
when i do a site, and im pointing to a page within my site,
i use the entire url, not just the /part
good or bad? should i nofollow ALL?
thanks guys!!

Although it does have basic rules when it comes to SEO that most will know, the most useful part of it to me is the density checker for the keywords. I'm quite specific about how dense I want the keywords in my posts to be (between 2.5-4.5%) and this helps with that bigtime.

$97 though? Not at that price.

I also got the email for SeoPressor but i just ignore it

It's worthless for the price. I got it from someone else and I used it on one of my websites and it would only be useful as a guidelines to a newbie. But a newbie shouldn't be spending $100 on a plugin so I don't get the point. If it was at $20 or so I could at least recommend it to newbies.

Yeah the absolute max I would say for this would be $37. That would be a fair price.

It does a job and does it well in giving that little bit of assistance, but not enough to justify the colossal price tag.

I like it. of coarse i got it at a cheap rate, but it emphasizes keywords on a post.

I have a quick question actually...it suggest that you should make your external links nofollow. Is this good advice and is there a way to just set all your outgoing links as nofollow in Wordpress?

Two things:

1)I've received way too many emails from Dan Tan and his other friends promoting the product, and it simply got too annoying, so I unsubscribed from them

2)SEOPresser doesn't really do anything.

I't ok i suppose, but I have a firefox plugin that does the same thing (more or less) for free.

Again, 7 emails in one day for this product. I unsubscribed as well.

It works, it's probably well coded (Dan's stuff always is) but there are cheaper options available (free) for the functionality that I need.

It does do more than the firefox plugin, but the extras - I don't need.

Scritty

I dont think making links no follow is worthwhile unless its some competitor I guess but even then I usually just give them a non super relevant anchor text. The make your links no follow thing goes from when PR sculping was possible but google said they removed that now (no follow links still count, its just the destination website gets no PR "juice")

Honestly, I still don't get how high priced this plugin is. It's a good plugin but $100???

Read his (Daniel Tan) WSO: Rank Mover and you don't need this plugin. This plugin is only reminder to do your SEO properly.

Chances are it would be cheaper to pay some guy $100 to make it?

For my it has work well but may be too that my concrete niches have different competition values than other.

Blah.
Plugins like these are useless, crapola. If you need this plugin to remind you, what you need to get done then you shouldnt probably be doing it anyways. Go surf the net or something.

Its pretty nifty tool to have to make sure your on page SEO is up to code.

Would I buy it, if I had not gotten it free from the net somewhere.....

I think I would actually, its a one time payment, you can use it on all your blogs, instead of taking time to calculate your density of keywords, if you have forgot to check alt tags in pictures and or left our italics, bold, underlined for your keyword.

Pretty useful tool! If you can afford it, go for it, it will save you time.

i am using it .. and its good !
it makes a list of all the improvements to be made to ur post to make it fully seoptimized !
pm me if u want !
