Hello, I’m looking to set up a reverse proxy with Nginx in front of an Apache server to mask the IP of my server. I’ve been facing issues with site suspensions or ddos almost every month, so I want to hide the IP of my main server.

I’m planning to subscribe to two VPS plans:

A VPS to host my files and Apache (VPS 1). Which I already do
Another VPS that will act as the reverse proxy.

Essentially, I want all server calls and page requests to be directed to VPS2, which will then forward those requests to VPS1 and relay the responses back to the original requester, without giving my Main Server IP.

Currently I Use cloudflare for DDOS attacks which is good, but I dont want cloudflare to know the Main IP of my Server. Let me know if you can help. Thanks

You can definitely use high-quality residential and datacenter proxies in front of your setup to better mask your real server IP and reduce the risk of suspensions or targeted attacks.
With Eclipse Proxy you get flexible IPv4 residential and IPv6 datacenter proxies that work well for routing, scraping and automation workflows, and can be integrated into a reverse-proxy style architecture to add an extra IP layer in front of your main VPS.

I do not handle the actual Nginx/Apache installation or VPS server hardening, but if you mainly need reliable proxy IPs to protect or rotate what is exposed, I can help.
Feel free to send me a DM so we can check your exact setup and see whether my proxies are a good fit for your use case.
