Credit line account

A credit line account on Facebook is simply an official billing method Meta gives to verified businesses. Instead of paying each time your ads spend, Meta lets the business run ads first and then pay the balance later on a set billing date.
It’s basically “post paid” billing, but only approved companies with strong payment history get it. It’s not something you can generate or rent Meta assigns it directly to legit business accounts.

A Facebook ad credit line is a pre-approved spending limit (like $5K-$50K) where you can run ads and pay the balance later, typically offered to trusted, long-term advertisers with consistent spending to help manage cash flow, but it requires a credit check and carries strict repayment terms with potential account holds if missed.

This is the type of account that Facebook gives you a very large limit, usually accounts that spend a lot of money.

Now I see many people want to use credit account but I don't really know about this type of account. Can anyone explain it clearly to me?

Can my business do that?

I’ve also noticed more people mentioning credit accounts lately, and it seems like many use them for flexibility when running multiple services or ads. But the explanations are always different depending on who you ask. From your experience, what exactly makes a credit account different from a normal one, and how does it actually benefit daily operations?

It is a type of account for businesses that spend with a large budget, then ask Meta for Meta approval and they will provide it to you to use. It will look like this

This payment method is postpaid and comes with a huge spending limit. However, it is a privilege only for highly trusted accounts recognized by Facebook and usually accounts that have a history of spending large amounts of money on the platform.

A credit account is basically “run now, pay later.” Meta gives you a limit, you hit it, then you pay the bill. It’s super convenient if you spend a lot, but Meta only gives it to trusted accounts — that’s why everyone wants it.

As far as I know, a credit account is an advertising account that Meta allows post-payment, meaning you spend first and pay later based on an approved credit limit.

Credit line account, also known as agency account
This is a prepaid account; you can only use it after depositing funds. They are quite stable and long-lasting.
The disadvantage is that if the account dies, you cannot recover the money you deposited into the account.
