This is my old account, which I haven't used for two years. I tried to use it again today, but I can't share pixel codes. I received a message saying it will be several weeks before I can. Is there a quick solution?

Hey, you can share that account with another BM and link it to Pixel or you can create a new account.

Not really. When an old account suddenly becomes active again, Meta throws those limits on it to check for risk. You can warm it up by doing normal activity for a few days create posts, verify info, connect a domain but the restriction itself usually just needs to run its course.

Gradually post content, verify details, and interact normally so meta recognizes it as active again the pixel sharing restriction usually lifts on its own.

I've tried this method before. After sharing the account, I can share public pages and advertising accounts, but I can't share pixel codes. This account is very important to me, and I can't create a new one.

I've already started posting ads through this account. I've been creating new posts daily to keep my account active for a month now, but I still can't share. It might take more time, but I'm not sure how long that will be.

Is there any other quick way besides these? I've been doing these things for over 30 days.

Here’s the quickest legit solution you can try, this is what usually works when an old Meta account loses permissions like pixel sharing:

✅ 1. Re-verify your Business Manager

Go to Business Settings → Security Center and make sure:

Business verification is complete

Your identity is confirmed

A valid payment method is added
These steps often restore locked features within 24–72 hours.

✅ 2. Add a new ad account or request access to an existing one

Sometimes old ad accounts trigger restrictions:

Create a new ad account

Or get added to someone’s active ad account
This can immediately re-enable pixel sharing.

Ad account or Business Manager issue – Your ad account or Business Manager might be restricted. Check for notifications or restrictions.

Pixel setup permissions – You need Admin access to the Business Manager or the Pixel to generate or share codes.

Browser/cache issues – Clear cache, try a different browser, or use incognito mode.

You can share that account with another Business Manager and connect it to your Pixel, or choose to create a new account.

Its normal with older accounts. Even when you stay active, Meta still runs its own internal timer. If everythings clean, it usually lifts on its own it just takes longer than people expect.

Maybe due to long time of non-use, the account needs to be warmed up before use. Please operate regularly.

Old accounts often get temporary limits when you return after a long break. There’s usually no quick fix just stay active and let the trust reset. Sometimes, doing normal account actions helps the review clear faster.

Since the account may have been inactive for a long time, it needs to be warmed up. To do this, gradually increase the frequency of posting content, conduct necessary verification, and maintain normal interactions so that Meta recognizes your active activity. Restrictions such as pixel sharing limits will usually disappear automatically when the account is used regularly and has good signals.

You can use 3rd party apps to share pixels to your account. There are several ways to do this.

maybe your account needs to verify after long time inactive, then you can warm it first and share it to other bm and share pixel
admin or pixel admin permissions are typically needed to share or manage pixel code

It might be because your ad account hasn't been used for a long time, so it needs time to 'warm up' before operating stably. However, this process usually takes quite a while. You could try transferring the ad account to a different BM to see if that improves the situation.
