Hey all,

I ve been a big fan of those narration channels lately and listen to 2-3 stories before sleeping every night.
I compiled a list of channels similar that does story narration and did some data checkin on them.

How do they come up with the content? Do they use ai to narrate videos frame by frame and then use AI Voice to read it?
This seems to be a super good niche with high CPM,

Is this a niche that can be worth exploring?

Not all of the stories you have on this sheet uses ai voice though
You may want to check
Also some clips in the videos ain't ai
But then ,ai can be used to do lots of voice over,
Google vertex seems Pretty good to me

Yea there is a mix in the group

But I wonder if something like that can be viable

It uses AI with some real pictures but the editing is really good. I think it's absolutely workable, you just have to discover the right niche to develop!

Honestly, this niche is still wide open, and if you can tell stories in a fresh way, you can definitely make good money with it.

Yes faceless storytelling content can work well. If you focus on good narration + strong hooks + relatable stories, you don’t need a face on camera. Many audiences care more about value and story than who’s behind it.

Yep, AI narration makes this niche super scalable, and CPM is solid.

Original stories or compilations with good voice and pacing usually perform best.

Basic Reddit-reading videos don’t perform well now,
Faceless channels in crime, horror, mystery, and history still grow with strong storytelling,
Scripts should be original or rewritten, not copied,
AI voice is fine, but light human editing improves quality,
Most creators use AI images with simple zoom/pan effects,
Earnings are steady, with extra income from sponsorships,
Success depends on fresh stories, clear audio, and engaging pacing.

The data table is very well compiled. How was the data collected? Or was it collected manually?

Yes, AI channels only seem simple. But in reality, you'll face intense competition. The simpler the content, the easier it is for automated farms to produce it and distribute it to hundreds of channels.

Even simple AI narration can work well when paired with engaging scripts, clean visuals and consistent uploads.

Wow really appreciate this, are you currently working on that niche?

I scrape it from the results pages of a keyword and then use ytlarge to double check the monetization.
Yeah, i think if done well, and the content is compelling there should be a way. But this is all new to me, I am trying to get as much info as well

I did some test on my own channel and got between 800-1k views on novel reader.
Since my channel is still new and dont have much subs, I will need to wait a long time before getting YPP

Now the question is, should I buy 4-5 YPP youtube channel from 3rd countires like Laos, Vietnam or Indonesia. And then monetize it on day 1?

Yes, it works. Faceless storytelling channels grow fast because of high watch time and strong CPM. Most creators use AI-written stories + AI voiceover + simple visuals. It’s scalable, low-effort, and still a profitable niche to enter.

It will work if the content has some original element. Making AI. Based narrations is just waste of time.

Typically, they take stories from public domain or Reddit, slightly edit them, and then use AI voices to narrate them. To keep production moving quickly, the majority of visuals are either AI-generated frames or straightforward stock footage.

It’s a solid niche because watch time is high and CPM is strong. It's certainly worth investigating as long as you maintain stories' uniqueness and consistency.

maybe they read books and get the idea of stories and hire a good editor for 2d or 3d video animation/editing

My suggestion is always make video with face. Because if you create value for face, you can earn good sponsorships.

For video like this for example:

Do you guys know how it's done?
How did they come with the narration? It's very compelling.
Do they write it themselves and then use AI to read it. While manually use visuls for frames
