What are the most affordable places to get reliable authority backlinks in 2025? Not looking for spam just budget-friendly sources that actually move rankings. Any platforms, sellers, or strategies you recommend?

Why not ask sellers of BHW? You need to do your own research. You won't find reliable authority backlinks just by asking in a single thread.
Go in the link building sections. Reply in their threads for samples. make an excel sheet. Compare the prices and compare the backlinks they are offering and what kind of content they are providing.

Cheap isn’t realistic for links that will pass PR.

1. Your own PBN with few outbound links only to edu resources that are relevant to the topic you are linking to them from, with the caveat that your PBN needs to be getting traffic. No goofy spun content, or cheap ai. Must be money site quality.

2. Link placements from sites in your niche or close to it so that the site focus is still relative to your niche. These websites must also have traffic and clean incoming anchor text profiles. No spam, no pharma, no foreign language anchors.

I am avoiding link farms for links directly to my money sites. They are a waste of time for a few years now.

Link farms include blogs that accept any niche (sold as PBN links), “guest posting” on websites anyone can sign up to and post on, and any other website people can register on and post too for free.

It doesn’t matter what people classify the platform as (blog comment, profile links, article links whatever). If there is a pattern of outbound links to low quality websites it is a link farm and there will be no ranking benefit in google. Complete waste of time and money.

Use those kinds of links on second tier. Not directly to your money site if you want long term success.

I agree with everything you said, but acquiring real PBN domains with traffic requires a huge amount of money. I’ve bought many PBN links on BHW, but hardly any of them had real traffic.
From your response, it seems like you truly understand SEO and are doing things properly.
However, since building and maintaining PBN domains with real traffic costs a lot of money, I’m curious — how many PBNs do you personally own?

The only thing I’m going to answer here is don’t try to acquire PBN domains unless they are live domains in your niche and operated by a real brand with a real brand presence online. Don’t try to repurpose expired domains. That’s over. I just buy new domains and publish content exactly as described.

Learn about keyword research and content creation. You can’t be lazy. But you can still rank and get traffic by publishing content. Like I said previously, no garbage content. Few outbound links only to EDU resources that are relevant.

You don't need to spend $3000 on a PBN domain, a couple of hundred should be fine. A PBN domain should already have authority, so you can just build content on top of the domain, and it should start ranking on its own. Just build a nice site with nice content and everything should be fine.
