Hey guys!

I've added 7 domain names to Sedo to park with them, but after 3 days of setting them up they all have 0 visits and earnings, which I find odd because many years ago (over 15) when I used Sedo for the 1st time I remember to have gotten visits for much worse domains. I don't remember whether it's taken long for the domains to get visibility, though, but I don't remember to have been this long either (although I could be wrong as my memory is weak these days)...

If any of you is parking domains with Sedo, can you please tell me how long it takes for your domains to get visibility after you've set them up. I need to know whether I should keep waiting, or remove the domains and take my business elsewhere.

I did contact Sedo (not about this particular issue, but it doesn't matter) last week, but they've still not replied yet, and I have a feeling that this company might be dead and buried but I don't know it yet. I mean, their entire site looks exactly like it looked 15-20 years ago when I discovered them and they used to be the biggest domainers in the industry, but I don't know what the deal is with these guys anymore...

If any of you knows for sure what (if anything) is wrong with Sedo please tell me so that I know not to keep waiting and hoping for something that will never come. Thanks!

Here's a screenshot of my domains' stance with Sedo (only the last domain in the list has gone through all of the steps that Sedo requires for the domain to go through in order to - supposedly - get maximum visibility, but - even so - Sedo are refusing to validate the optimization of the last step even though I've completed those steps 3 days ago like I said... so yeah, not sure what to do at this point, I'm genuinely considering removing the domains and stopping using Sedo altogether)

PS: the red exclamation mark for the 2nd to last domain in the list is related to (supposedly) Namesilo not accepting my request to park / sell the domain with Sedo, even though Namesilo is (again, supposedly) part of Sedo's trusted partners network. And yes, I did contact Namesilo (via their Contact Us page, and I purposely used the form on that page to see whether they're still a valid company, or totally lost the plot by using AI as their "support staff" like everyone else, or they are still using humans to address the "contact us" inquiries)... So anyway, like I said, I did contact Namesilo about this (on Saturday I believe), but so far no reply yet, which is odd because Namesilo used to reply within minutes to all of my inquiries the last time I used them.... I don't know what's wrong with all of these "big" companies to not give a single fuck about anyone anymore, they just expect you to keep doing business with them, they love taking your money, but when it comes to offering help crickets, not a single soul in sight anywhere...

Sedo is working perfect in domain parking service, but getting traffic nowadays is difficult maybe your domain name have something unique like typos example domain have many users like example.com and your domain name is example.net and all these domains are available at search engine

my domains are OK, I just talked to Sedo support (I eventually found their replies in the SPAM folder) and they've told me that I've been kicked out of their parking service in 2020 and they said that they've sent me an email about this issue back then, but I swear that I've never seen / received that email (maybe it had landed in the SPAM folder again, who knows!)

But anyway, I asked them why they've kicked me out of their parking service and I've never heard of them ever since LOL (that was almost a week ago)... so yeah, not gonna bother with Sedo anymore, I only set up 2 of the domains for sale to see how good their domain selling service is and if the domains sell I will just mark them all 7 for sale, and be done with parking altogether...

If they says they kick out you since long time you can create new account with different email address, I have heard if not mistaken others parking companies they steal your money during payout like claiming saying you have invalid clicks in your domain name even your doing nothing but for sedo they good reputation

I didn't think about that.. and I was inclined to do it, but won't they kick me out again when they see that they're the same 7 domains as the other account?

Also, what about their KYC policies? I hate being KYC'd, and if they're gonna KYC me beyond the government-issued ID level when / before they send me payment I'll have to give up on using Sedo

They don't have KYC or requesting government ID for anything ,just do this remove all domain names you added there and delete account, then start again

thanks, I appreciate your valuable tip!

I'll do this in a few days as right now I'm lazy as fuck, but I promise I'll do it :)

I mean, if I am going to delete my current account there won't be any trying anymore, it will be just doing :)

By the way, do I really have to delete my current account? Can't I just let it sit idle, just in case of emergency or something?

Just delete it since the their account itself does not worth anything unless you have some $$$$ inside it

well, what would you know! They want to KYC me...

Yes, I did delete my previous account (1 hour ago actually, I just received confirmation from them via email that they've deleted my account) AFTER I have first removed the domains, of course.

And yes, I did create a new account and went through the same process of activating SedoMLS (whatever the hell this thing is), and approving the parking / selling by clicking on the confirmation emails that Namesilo and UnstoppableDomains sent me, etc...

And then, 1-2 hours later after doing all of these and eagerly waiting for my domains to start getting exposure and generating revenue they've sent me this email:

To which I replied with "you don't need any of these documents, so stop begging for them". I was also inclined to add "fucking whiners", but then I remembered how it's not really their fault that our beloved criminal governments enforce complete censorship, surveillance and totalitarianism onto us, so I didn't add that part in.

But I was really pissed as you can tell, so now I'm waiting for them to close my account any time :D ... Even if they don't close it, I will just quit using Sedo because of the KYC, so I don't care whether they'll close it or not, cause I'm definitely not using Sedo as long as they ask for so many documents from me (I would have been OK sending them my government-issued ID - which should be enough for anyone to verify that it's me - but noooo, they want to know EVERYTHING about me.)

It is possible that the KYC got triggered because I didn't give them my physical address (except for country and phone number, and the phone no. only because it was fucking obligatory and I was too lazy to rent a fake number like I did some weeks ago, so I had to give them my real phone number) on the registration form, otherwise the KYC might have not been triggered. But I still think it would have been enforced at some point during the cashout process anyway, all of the companies are doing this nowadays (and it's not even their fault as this is a government issue)...

But yeah, I wanted to update you on this new (well, new for you, as I already expected this to happen) development and how fucked we all are. We can't earn money anymore if we don't sell our soul and data, to random white collar criminals... Sad state of affairs, really...

I parked nnnn domains since 2007 and this year they banned me with a generic email regaring PARKING AUDIT.
Never done a single fake click in 18 years.
They was not the best but not the worst either when parking had a reason to exist

probably they've been acquired by one of those big shady companies that buy profitable businesses and turn them into trash, because I too remember Sedo to be the go-to site for parking many (20??) years ago, but when 20 years later their site design is still like in the 90s it clearly shows their lack of interest in their business...

Don't think so i think you earn not much by parking domains
