How much do you usually spend on ads per month?

I am in Education Niche and advertising to audience in India. Monthly ad spend is around $10K.

I don't have a fixed amount, some months it's a few hundred dollars, some months it's a few dollars. It depends on whether the ad is effective or not.

I don't run ads so I don't have a fixed budget. How much do you plan to spend? I can advise you on the most suitable and cost-effective account type

When I see a campaign that starts generating a good ROI, I increase the budget a bit, but I usually try to start between $150 and $300 a month. This is mainly to run tests and see which campaigns are truly worthwhile.

I work primarily with digital services and small offers, so I don't need to invest a fortune to validate whether something actually works.

I do all of this gradually to avoid burning through money all at once. Ultimately, each niche has its own numbers, but this range has been most useful for me to test without taking too many risks, and also to scale only when I see concrete data.

You also have to consider the level of competition, because that matters too. It's like a supply and demand dynamic; if other people offer significantly more than you and you're in the same niche, you'll have a tough time.

I don’t run FB ads directly myself, but I can share a bit about my clients. They’re running across all kinds of niches.

Usually the big budgets go $5K+/day on gambling, finance, nutra… while e-com is more like $1K/day. (Not all of them are like that, of course.)

Seems like whenever a campaign proves profitable, they just pour more into it and scale it hard.
Are the ecom ads profitable for your clients? There are so many competing sites in ecom kn any niche.

We work at Facebook and spend about 200,000 dollars a month. The main niches are the nutra, cannabis stores, and financial niches, gambling

For me, based on good ads I will increase my budget, but on days when FB delivers bad ads I may not spend or spend very little.

my niche is IM and results definitely vary depending on the industry, competition, and audience

Honestly I also expect the answer. For me my budget is not fixed, they depend on the results I get from the ads, but usually I will keep the budget small but if the results are good I will increase the budget, and when the results are not good I will turn it off and not spend.

I believe so. The ecom industry is still generating massive amounts of money in 2025, and its no coincidence that every ecom niche is pouring tons of money into ads.

The advertising budget also depends on the product you are promoting and the advertising objectives you are targeting

Honestly, monthly ad budgets vary wildly from project to project, some people only spend $50 or $100 a month to understand how the platforms work and see which audience responds best, while others are more confident and invest several hundred dollars or even thousands once their campaign is well-optimized.

The most important thing isn't the amount itself, but that the money you spend helps you learn: which ad attracts the most clicks, which converts best, what time your audience responds best, etc. With a small budget, you can still gather useful data if you manage it well, and once you find an ad or strategy that truly delivers results, then it's worth increasing your spending, because it's essentially nurturing something that's already working.

Everyone spends according to their stage of development. If you're testing, start small, if you've found something profitable, scale up. But there's no magic number that everyone agrees on.
