I’m from Europe and trying to create TikTok content for a US audience. I’ve been testing things by creating an account, trying a warm-up routine, and if that doesn’t work, I start over with a fresh account. But every warm-up post still gets zero views.

I’ve already tried a bunch of things: factory-reset iPhone, new iCloud profiles, US proxies/VPNs with dedicated IPs, fresh accounts, etc. Nothing seems to change the results.

Anyone here with experience targeting the US on TikTok while not being based there?

Right now, it’s very hard for U.S. TikTok accounts to grow — videos often get zero views. You can go to https://tik-id.com and enter the TikTok username to check whether the videos are being shadow-banned or limited.

Yes, targeting the US from Europe is very difficult. TikTok's algorithm is likely detecting your non-US SIM card or other device-level signals, which makes it nearly impossible to fully bypass. Even with a US proxy/VPN, a lack of local cellular data is a major red flag for their system, resulting in immediate "zero view" shadowbans.

Could a physical US sim help?

TikTok is strict with location, so posting from outside the US often gets zero views unless it looks fully natural.

The missing link is likely the SIM card. TikTok reads the carrier code heavily on iOS. Even with a VPN, if you have a local EU SIM (or no SIM at all sometimes), it flags you. Try buying a cheap pre-paid US SIM card off eBay and put it in the phone.

TikTok reads more than IP device, SIM, behavior, and trust signals.
Proxies alone won’t fix zero-views. Warm the account slowly and engage with US content for a few days before posting.

Yes, it's the most critical factor. A physical US SIM card provides the necessary cellular carrier data that TikTok uses to verify location, making it much more effective than a VPN alone.

Tiktok favors local US engagement, so vpns arent enough. Get early interaction from real US users to gain traction.

Try posting without VPN first, then switch to a trusted mobile proxy. TikTok often flags mismatched device/IP signals. Keep one account stable for a week before testing new content.

Your leaking a fingerprint. In that case, look into using an App Cloner to spoof fingerprints between each new account you create.

targeting US from Europe is possible, but if every warm-up hits 0 views it means TikTok does not trust the account setup — not your content. VPN/proxy alone is not enough anymore. TikTok looks at SIM + first engagement + browsing history. What works for me is letting the account sit a couple days, act like a real US user first (follow/engage with US accounts), then start posting. If you post right away, most accounts get shadow-limited instantly.

maybe also due to imei as sim card can be changed, but imei stays
