It's a painful process. We use the "Easy Markdown" plugin to convert the Markdown to HTML, then copy-paste it into Elementor. It's not elegant, but it works.
Yes, you can import Markdown content into Elementor sites, but Elementor doesn’t support Markdown directly.
The easiest way is to convert the Markdown file into HTML first, then paste that HTML into an Elementor HTML widget or the text editor (in “HTML” mode).
There are also some WordPress plugins that let you use Markdown, but they usually work with the regular editor, not inside Elementor.
So converting to HTML before importing is usually the safest and cleanest method.
