I find some documents about tailscale vpn.
I am not sure it is a good idea to build it by myself, and hope to make money.

But I just did it.
Uh... I have to learn so many things and try hard to build it by headscale and derp servers.

It's so tired, and the result looks like no helpful for me.
At last, I think I also need a website for better using it.

Uh.. maybe it is a bad idea

Building a commercial VPN from scratch is an infrastructure-heavy project with massive costs (servers, bandwidth, support) and fierce competition. It's very hard to compete with established, cheap providers.

Better spent the time on a project with a higher chance of ROI.

hey bro competing with established providers is tough, so pivoting to something simpler or more profitable usually makes more sense.

Even if the project doesnt turn into a business, the skills you picked up arent wasted they’ll make whatever you build next a lot easier.

Tackling a project like this solo really highlights the gaps in existing tools and processes knowing that can inspire smarter solutions or side projects that actually have market potential.
:D

Sounds like you learned a lot, even if the project didn’t turn out as expected. Sometimes trying it yourself shows you whether it’s worth pursuing. Nothing wrong with stepping back and reassessing

It's impossible to compete with the big providers there are. You would need millions of dollars.
