The thought just came to my head this, I actually laughed about it coz I thought no job would pay with btc and concluded it was a silly thought, but then I decided to do a little research about it and lo and behold, I found out that there are actually jobs that pays with btc to employees.

1. Coinbase: A s a Coinbase staff, you have the option of receiving your pay with btc, part of Coinbase’s commitment to advancing crypto adoption.
2. MicroStrategy: offers employees Bitcoin salary options too

Overal it probably doesn’t make much of a difference. I think the main drive would be places that accept it as a payment option and for 99% of “regular” people BTC (and crypto in general) are still too complicated for day-to-day use.
 
Almost every OFM agency pays in crypto and payments are weekly. The easiest way to start earning fast and getting your feet wet with crypto.

These crypto related companies are doing this. But it will not make any big difference. Because very few can hold for long term.

Most sites are accepting crypto there are almost 1000s of them. Gaming sites, Pr services websites, social media market places. The list is endless.

The point is not getting paid with BTC but finding out places that accept BTC as payment.

How many of those staff actually accept payment in crypto ? If someone is getting paid in crypto and also saving most of the money, then only it is going to be any benefit.
 
There’s not enough adoption to validate getting your paycheck in BTC imo, you’d be losing a % every time you convert back into fiat for rent, and on top of that you’re creating a taxable event every time you do so. Just seems tedious.

It is good that these companies pay in crypto. But there should be more companies paying in crypto. Like imagine the situation that even after so many years, only 4-5 big companies are paying salary in crypto.
