Woke up to some devastating news today.
My main channel, the one that actually earns money, was terminated. I’m almost certain everything on it was clean and within the rules. While trying to figure out what happened, I realized YouTube likely flagged it as a circumvention attempt because they had previously banned a small channel I made last year. That one had a single commentary video, about 200 views, and zero subs.
I’m pretty pessimistic about getting this resolved, but I’d like to know if anyone here has dealt with something similar. What are my options? Should I try to get YouTube to treat the second channel as separate and restore it? Or should I focus on appealing the main channel ban, hoping that would automatically fix the issue with the smaller one? I don’t even think the first channel violated anything, it was just low-effort and not very interesting.
