Facebook algorithm error

The threshold usually shows a temporary projected amount, not the exact charge. Meta updates it based on spend, billing cycle, and pending authorizations. Sometimes the display is higher for a few hours while the system recalculates. The extra amount won’t be charged twice it updates once the invoice is finalized.

This morning I set up my campaign
The campaign spend is good, but the threshold payment status from Meta
is higher than the actual threshold, is that a temporary amount, where will that money go
Please explain to me
it's a hold, they will refund it later
but you still have to pay attention to it and contact support immediately if fb doesn't refund you

This is just a temporary level that Meta displays to ensure that the campaign is not interrupted while the system is processing payment data. After Meta reconciles the actual amount spent, the threshold will automatically readjust and only calculate the exact amount you spent, without overcharging or duplicate charges.

You don't need to worry too much. FB is only collecting the amount on hold. This prevents advertisers from not paying the final balance when spending reaches a large payment threshold.

Yes, Meta often displays a provisional number higher than the payment threshold because they include pending expenses. When the bill is finished, the system will automatically adjust to the correct number, nothing is lost

Facebook will correct the amount itself, don't worry, it happens sometimes

Bro, that is a hold from Metan and they will refund you in 1-2 days

FB requires payment over threshold to seize and continue until you stop meta activity will be refunded after few days

That is just Meta's estimated amount , and it always shows a little higher than the actual amount spent while the system is synchronizing spending and events. This is normal billing behavior, not an error and will not be deducted immediately. When the billing cycle ends, Meta will automatically adjust and you only have to pay the exact amount spent, the "higher" part will disappear.

It’s normal. Meta sometimes shows a temporary “predicted spend” that’s higher than your actual threshold.

The ad will continue to run for a few minutes/hours until the system actually processes the transaction. The amount exceeding that threshold is real spending during the time Meta is processing billing, completely normal and you will still be fully charged

It happens to confirm payment method, they won't actually charge that full amount.

It’s just a temporary hold Meta adjusts the payment threshold while billing updates and it usually fixes itself soon

you can contact the Facebook support center, we face up with many cases like that and just wait to be refunded
