Change name / password on Facebook

When I want to change password, I go to Accounts Center > Password and security > change password.
When I click 'change password', I have to select te profile.
Normally it is possible to click on the profile(s) and then change the password.
On all my Facebook profiles I have the samen problem: nothing happens when I click.

Anyone familiar with this problem?

might be ur proxies or acc get flagged, is it fresh bought account or aged? you logged in same day u went to change pw?
 
Same problem on more then 200 accounts. (aged)

Facebook is not asking me to login via email.

Was the issue exactly the same? (No response when clicking the account name)
 
No bro,I dont have it,but when I want to change password.I need whatsapp otp,but I dont have this, its make me bad
 
I have a similar problem with my accounts. Haven't found the reason yet; perhaps they have been restricted by Facebook or are being asked for something.
 
Hey, that sounds annoying. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies first, or even try a completely different browser or incognito mode. Sometimes browser extensions can cause unexpected issues. If that doesn't work, maybe try from a mobile device or just give it some time and check again later, Facebook can have glitches.
 
For fb profiles with this error, you need to change your password at Meta AI
 
it could be because the system is temporarily faulty or unstable. you can delete the facebook app, re-download it, log in again and try to change the password to see if it works.
 
Try deleting cookies, in chrome you are using, or try using the app on your phone to log in. If it does not work, try contacting the support team so they can check and let you know the cause.
 
I never experience this before, but I'll suggest you clear cookies and caches maybe this might help
 
It seems like this is a general Accounts Center bug, not an account-specific issue. I once encountered the exact same situation: clicking on a profile to change the password but there was no response. At that time, I solved it by directly accessing the Facebook password change link , or opening it with another browser / incognito mode , then the button worked. Some people also reported that Meta was updating the interface, so password-related operations were temporarily stuck. If you have multiple profiles that all have the same problem, it is almost certainly a system bug, not a checkpoint or security restriction.

Using proxy friend, choose a fixed IP of a foreign country, for example US, then log in to your Facebook account and change your password.
 
try clearing your browser cache, updating your browser, or using a different device/browser to see if the problem persists.
 
Yes, the same issue. I found an email from Facebook with an invitation to join a group. After clicking on the link in the email, Facebook automatically found my account and logged me in.
