I decided to test myself this last month — starting a brand new TikTok page from absolute zero. No paid traffic, no shoutouts, no bots. Just pure content and consistency.

At first, I was getting less than 100 views per video. Felt like I was talking to myself.
But I kept testing different hooks, lengths, and sounds… and slowly, things started to move.

Now I’m getting a few thousand views per post and followers are trickling in.
Still early, but progress is progress.

Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
Short clips under 20 seconds seem to perform better.
A strong hook in the first 2 seconds is everything.
TikTok doesn’t punish posting often — daily uploads help.

It’s not viral yet, but I’m learning a lot.

Try to upload 6 videos in single day, you will realize that 7th video get 0 views and you are punished for a week xD

that might explain why some creators see sudden 0-view drops after posting too often.
Seems like TikTok’s algorithm has an internal cooldown to prevent spam behavior.
I might try testing 3–4 uploads/day instead and see if the reach stays stable.

I'm also trying from zero like you. At first, each video only had a few dozen views, I was so bored I wanted to cry. This time, I posted more and saw that the reach started to improve

I created a new TikTok Account on a Newly reseted phone + Residential Proxy + UK Sim (I'm not in UK)
I warmed up the account for 2 days then I started posting so account age is 7 days and from first video I posted until now 5 days

- Total of Posted videos is 13
- My views of each video are between 500 to 1000
- Audience & Engagement : 80-92% from UK (Rest are from EU and USA...)
- Gained followers 12
- Total Likes 172
- Total comments around 25

in my case I'm posting +1min videos, with editing and Ai Voiceover...

I fixed my 0-view issue by switching to TKK.ONE.
It posts through the official TikTok API, and my videos started getting views normally.

Yes, hook is very important. If You are not able to create good hooks in start, you can get it from sites that sell readymade hooks.

That’s pretty normal on TikTok. Most accounts do not see traction until they have tested a lot of formats, not just posted consistently.

I tried all these steps and got better results than before. In the end I understand quality with consistency is the key.
