Account spending error.

I don't know why my account got an hourly spending error. It's strange that the account spending time is only 6 hours then it stops and takes 14 hours to spend again. Has anyone encountered this situation?
I have encountered this, maybe facebook is messed up. Quite a few accounts of the same type stopped spending.

It might be related to automatic pacing rules on your account. Sometimes the system spaces out spending to balance usage.
it is working everyday and has been doing so for 4 days now

Maybe your account is new and has been interrupted by FB spending. Try changing the card for that account to match the account's country

yes i am using the card and country match.but it is really when it appears this error but only on this BM other BMs have no problem

Bro, don't worry, this will happen 2-3 days for Meta to increase your account spending limit

Ads not eating money is often due to internal Meta speed/trust limits, especially with new accounts. To fix this, reduce your budget, stabilize your payments, and keep your settings stable to let the account "warm up". If the problem persists, contact Meta Support.

1. Self-limiting pacing algorithm
Facebook sometimes automatically divides the budget into the time slots it thinks have the best traffic. If there are weak signal moments during the day, the system will automatically stop to avoid spending at the most effective time.

2. Weak or unstable accounts
Some accounts (especially new, low threshold or lightly restricted accounts) often have local distribution like this.

3. Your market is active by certain hours
If your target is only strong online during a few hours, the ad will soak up spend during that time and “hibernate” during other hours.

4. Hourly competition
During high CPM hours, the ad is launched → distributed. When the price drops, it runs again.

To summarize: this is not a strange bug. I have encountered it a few times and when changing campaigns + changing files or letting the account run for a while to stabilize, the problem gradually subsides.

Could be the platform is scheduling your spend in intervals. Watching it over a few days or checking the account settings might explain the gaps.
yeah i hope it gets back to normal soon.it's worrying me right now

It’s a pacing/throttling issue from Meta. When the system doesn’t fully trust the account, it spends in bursts, then pauses for hours. Usually fixes itself after more spend history or cleaner setup.

Check your daily or lifetime budget. If your budget has been spent, your ads will pause until the next period. If your ads are pending or have been disapproved, this may cause a disruption in spending.

My client also had the same problem
You can check your audience file again, if your audience file is not too large >20 million users then you can try changing accounts
If >20 million then try increasing the budget because Meta may only prioritize 1 time frame to optimize your budget

I have a few accounts and suddenly no spending what does this mean

It usually happens when you hit the hourly spend limit for your plan. The limit resets on a rolling basis, not at a fixed time, so it can look like it “stops” for several hours before refreshing. If you used a lot of credits within a short window, the system may pause usage until the rolling hour clears. Checking your usage dashboard can help you see when the limit will open up again.

It sounds like a temporary spending-limit review on Facebook’s side. Sometimes the system recalculates trust or updates account-level limits, which can cause irregular spending windows like this (e.g., spending allowed for a few hours, then paused for many hours).

It usually happens when the system temporarily restricts the spending cycle for verification or risk-review purposes.

Even with a clean setup, some bm's act unpredictable. Sometimes a small spend reset or swapping to another verified card clears it up.

Reduce budget by 20–30%, keep ads stable for 24–48 hours, or switch to a more reputable account/billing to quickly remove restrictions.
