I'm tired and lazy today, I have the flu, it's not cancer but I don't have energy, would you work today if you were on my shoes or just scratch your balls all day?

Alka seltzer plus extreme cold nighttime formula will keep you going during flu if you cant take time off to heal properly. Keeps me from curling into fetal position and napping on the floor at work when seriously ill, hope you feel better soon!

Nope. I wouldn’t consider it. People need to rest when sick or injured. I am the employer but if I was an employee and my employer had a problem with me taking time off because I am sick, I would be finding a new employer while I am sick in bed and fired lol

It depends on your financial situation. As a broke ass, I'm working everyday, even when I'm sick. But if your financial situation is good, 3 days resting won't kill your pockets, you can afford it.

No. Even though my work has been mostly remove for the better part of 10 years, I find if I have an actual flu (or anything with a fever really) I'm going to make horrible mistakes. Do you really want me deciding on your fate in a Dispute at that point?

Had dengue last week, I didnt work or even chat with clients. Sometimes rest is more important than forcing it.

Usually not. But if the temperature isn't too high, then I can respond to clients in chat. That's all.

Tried hard to do the work but unable to do any work during i have flu because of my weakness.

Honestly, I’ve been there—it usually ends up harming more than helping. Your productivity drops, decision-making weakens, and mistakes tend to pile up. If you have a critical task with tight deadlines, a short shift might be okay—but otherwise I try to rest, heal, and return stronger. The savings in recovery time often outweigh the lost hour or two of work.

Here are the reasons:
Health is the number one priority: You can’t work effectively when you’re not feeling well. Trying to go to work will only make you more tired and may result in poorer quality work.
Avoid spreading it to your co-workers: Going to work with the flu is irresponsible to those around you. You don’t want the whole office to get sick with it, do you?
Rest helps you recover faster: A full day of rest at home will help your body recover faster than trying to work while feeling lethargic.

Just doing the most basic and repetitive stuff so I don’t have to do it twice as much on the day I recover.
