Why is it that recently many hackers who have used bitcoin to launder money or attack crypto exchanges themselves have been caught even when they apparently dont make any mistakes? Why even when they dont make any mistakes they get caught? Why would this be the case? Why is this?

Cryptocurrencies are traceable. Most exchanges now require ID. So the scammers can get away for a long time but some point they'll trip some system where they're identified. That's when they get caught.

Every person who have crypto at one moment want to withdraw in usd for example and for this they use exchanges and when they withdraw the money is simple to see their ID as exchanges require ID
