I have just created a blog with blogspot. And i have made a few unique post on a few gadgets. my question is, is it possible to earn with this niche? is it saturated? or should i continue with writing my blog?

My first autoblog was also about tech. There is a lot of competition, but you can still get your fair share of visitors. However, the key is promotion. When I first started, I was under the impression that you can just provide good content and visitors will come. In reality, you need to do backlinking of some sort.

About a year ago, I built like 25 autoblogs and only the one that had significant backlinking earned me anything. I literally had 1 blog that paid for the other 24 simply because it was my first one and I spent the most time on it.

So, you are on the right track in providing quality content, and your niche is harder but not impossible. However, you have to start putting together a backlinking/promotion plan, whether it's twitter, forum backlinking, social media bookmarking, or blog commenting. Without links, you won't get any visitors. Good Luck!

You can and should start backlinking and promoting right now. In addition, backlinks aren't instantaneous because it takes time for google or other engines' spiders to find the backlinks, give you "credit" and help increase your rankings.

I think $20 is a lofty goal for your first autoblog. I think the expectations should be more around $1-2 per day consistently if you do some decent backlinking. I don't mean to sound discouraging or anything, and I'm just trying to be realistic. I think that unless you have a nose for excellent keywords or are an SEO wizard, work hard on it everyday, or get super lucky, $20 per day is too high.

The main reason is that autoblogs are meant to target long-tailed keywords and earn a steady smaller sized income. Authority sites (larger sites with unique content built by hand) are where you can expect bigger payouts per day, but require a lot more work. People tend to go with volume for autoblogs by making a whole bunch of them that earn small amounts each day.

Plus, if you do the math, $2 a day would put you at $700 a year. The key is to then scale that up by making a bunch of them.

Tech blogs are really saturated.

When I think of tech blogs and reviews, I think of engadget and Gizmodo!

However, you should focus on YouTube in order to make money and get traffic.

I see 14 year olds just discussing tech news making more money than most of us here.
