Need a review on Hide My IP Address

I am thinking about purchasing this software that can change to unlimited proxies, but it does not make t clear if it goes through the same subnet. Need some reviews on it. And if you know of better software, post it here.

Hide my ip does not have unlimited proxies, I think it's around 150 or so.

it works as described but most of the proxies are well known so useless for mininova, craigslist etc however I dont pay for the monthly fee which I beleive gives you acces to more proxy addresses

use tor, its free but really slow

I've used it pretty successfully. When you initially purchase the program, you get a 3 day trial to their premium service (normally $8.95/month, I believe). I used it with an autoposter for CL and it worked flawlessly (my regular IP is banned by CL).

Using the regular product without the premium service works rather well, although you'll get the occasional hiccup where it slows to a crawl. I just click "Change IP" and find a faster one.

On a side note, when my 3 day premium trial expired, I was able to continue using the premium service if I didn't close the program. Once I closed Hide My IP and re-opened it, I could no longer use the premium service for free.

I had the trail installed for work in employment and recently for personal use. the trail version is much better than the paid for service.

you can't specify uk country only, if that matters.

the network proxy returns errors verry often, along the lines of the network connection was closed or the "location of the url has moved" browser error.

the dns screws up windows xp pro, often i had to reboot my pc after 20 minutes of use. i contacted support who are aware of the issue. i had to uninstall in the end it slowed me down too much.

tor onion is great, but its hard to find a fast connection (free)

anonymizer, support is very slow if you need it. plug-ins are available to let your own apps proxy through it. 1 ip per day. decent network bandwidth, not banned by google. overall its by far the best out of all the ones i used .
