Hello guys,
I'm using an AI avatar for my YT videos. I have been using HeyGen to create my avatar videos. But it's a bit expensive for me atm. I'd like to know if there are any alternative methods to generate these type of AI avatars? Thank you

hi bro, I think you should have GPT do in-depth research. It’s a service with many advantages and disadvantages.
Suggestions will only be a waste of time.

Yes some good, cheaper HeyGen alternatives are Synthesia, Pictory, Elai.io, DeepBrain AI, and Colossyan. You can also try Runway or VEED.io if you just need lip-sync avatars for short clips.

If you want a budget friendly alternative try Elai.io or colossyan. Synthesia is more professional but a bit pricey for simple tests the first two work just fine.

HeyGen is great but definitely pricey. You can try Synthesia, DeepBrain AI, or Colossyan — they all offer similar AI avatar video tools, sometimes cheaper. If you want a free or low-cost option, you can also mix Pika Labs (for video) with ElevenLabs (for voice).

Thanks.. I'll check those out definitely want something simple without breaking the bank.

HeyGen works well, but yeah, it’s a bit expensive, there are some more affordable AI avatar tools that do a pretty good job too.

You can try alternatives like Synthesia, Pictory, or Elai.io — they all do similar AI avatar videos at lower costs. If you’re a bit techy, you can even combine ChatGPT + ElevenLabs + D-ID to make custom videos on a budget.

If budget is tight: start with a simple avatar (free or low-cost) and scale later. Upload the avatar video, then overlay your voice-over + animations. That way you keep production cost low but still look professional.

try nano banana , gemini's or google studio's video creation tools.

How much videos you going to generate every month? and average length of the video?

I would recommend you to try zoice, because it's the only ai avatar generator which compete with heygen avatar 4 and heygen avatar 5 in terms of ai avatar quality

If you're doing vertical videos, one of the best I know is called caption, and it always maintains realistic movement and consistent face and clothing in videos

Can it make good avatars that are good looking women ??

Heygen is very expensive; it's a great tool but the price is high. You should try switching to Captions or Gemini Omni.
