Guys, how do you increase outbound clicks from Pintrest? I've tried writing better CTAs but it doesn't seem to work. Currently using the search bar to find keywords to target.

I feel people click more when the pin looks genuine and clearly shows what they’ll get after clicking. Just make sure to include a strong CTA in the title.

Focus on pin design and placement, not just CTAs. Make the value clear in the image/video, use keyword rich descriptions, and test different formats videos, carousels, and idea pins tend to get more clicks than static images.

Another strategy is to experiment with “teaser” content show just enough in the pin to spark curiosity, so users feel compelled to click to get the full information or tutorial.

You can also try A,B testing different pin angles or hooks sometimes a slight change in headline phrasing or visual focus can dramatically boost outbound clicks without changing the core content.

Pinterest primarily wants users staying on their platform, so direct outbound clicks are tricky; try linking in naturally within your pin descriptions rather than just a CTA button. Consider adding a Linktree or similar service to your profile for multiple destinations and experiment with video pins that subtly hint at the external resource. Focusing on high-quality visuals aligned with trending searches is still key too.

CTA and Visual improvement should increase your outbound clicks. If you want, show me your current thumbnail and I’ll give you some improvement suggestions.
