What social media apps work best?

I haven't really tackled X, TikTok, insta, or FB cause it feels like it requires building an entire social media presence which is daunting.

And most FB groups are so spammed, it feels pointless trying to post anything.

Have you tried LinkedIn jobs?

There are multiple short-term contracts posted there.

Additionally explore indeed, monster and other similar sites.

Use the filter and apply on short term contracts(remote).

Prepare one page CV and apply with custom cover letters.

Am assuming you are looking at whitehat jobs.

If you are looking for gigs that are blackhat then explore discord groups, facebook groups that are moderated, X (I don't know how it works).

With your skills, LinkedIn is probably your best bet. You don't need a huge following; just a solid profile that clearly states you're for hire for mobile automation. Connect with other developers and tech managers at agencies, they're the ones who need and budget for this work.

I'm realizing my original post wasn't clear - I'm not advertising development or automation. I'm just saying I'm experienced with both and therefore, trying to figure out which platforms can be most easily used to get users to any type of platform (in my case, saas or music related services)

Yeah, building from scratch can feel like a grind. For dev services, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn are solid if you share quick insights, demos, or automation results they attract serious clients. TikTok and Reels can work too if you show short “how I automated this” clips. Instead of broad posting, focus on niche communities (Discords, indie dev groups, automation subreddits alternatives). Consistent, value-based posting > heavy self-promo.
