Hey everyone,

I’ve been trying to figure out if it’s possible to completely close a Trustpilot page.

I came across a post that describes the following method:
  1. After a few days, change the business name on Trustpilot — for example, from “TheFlorist.com” to “The Florist” or simply “Florist”.
  2. Then, after another few days, block Trustpilot IPs, referrers, User-Agents, etc. on your site’s .htaccess file or any WAF like Cloudflare.
  3. After a couple of weeks, Trustpilot will not be able to detect the website as “active” and may mark the business as closed, eventually stopping new reviews.

Now, in another post I found the ASN and two IP addresses that Trustpilot apparently uses, and I have a few specific questions:
  1. The article mentions blocking Trustpilot’s IP, referer, and user-agent — are all three of these required, or are the two IP addresses alone enough to make it work?
  2. My domain is hosted on Shopify and purchased through Namecheap — is it possible to block Trustpilot’s access through Cloudflare in this setup?

If anyone has real experience with this or can help me configure it correctly, I’m willing to pay generously.

Thanks!

facing the same issue im trying to solve. it used to work before flawlessly. Now it seems to not work. Im willing to pay generously also if someone can help

They delete businesses pages that are marked as closed after some time. I had a business marked as closed and it is now deleted. I don’t know how long it took exactly.

You can also contact them and threaten them with legal action for allowing fake reviews. They deleted one of my pages after doing that.

I've send you a PM about this

Interesting approach but I would be careful, Trustpilot’s systems can still track business mentions even after IP blocks.
