That's good advise; I've been having the same problem lately. I would also say that maintaining your internal linking strong and adding connections to new content on older, high-authority pages will assist speed up indexing. But you have to be patient; sometimes it's better to let Google's crawl pattern settle down than to keep sending in new submissions.
