Meta Ads are still powerful, but competition from TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and AI ad tools is heating up. Some advertisers are diversifying fast; others stay loyal to Meta because it still drives sales reliably. Personally, I think Meta will remain core — but the edge will go to those who adapt creatives fast. What about you — will Facebook Ads still be your main spend next year, or are you shifting budgets elsewhere?

Yes meta is still a reliable platform for people to boost sales. New platforms are being tested by many people but it seems that it is not effective now.

there's a lot of social media now that meta trend but in my country still alive

It’s likely that Facebook/Instagram Platforms will remain a mainstay for many advertisers in 2026 thanks to its mature targeting, scale and data assets. However, more budgets will shift gradually toward newer channels like, as you said, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and AI-driven formats because CPMs are lower and creative demand is higher.
So the smartest move: keep Meta as your core conversion channel, but diversify and test rapidly on emerging platforms to stay ahead.

Facebook has a large user base so I think Facebook could still be of interest to many advertisers in 2026

I think in the coming years platforms like tik tok and youtube will develop stronger than facebook so I started to switch to tik tok platform which was a wise decision.

I find TikTok and Shorts are great for top-of-funnel attention, while Facebook still dominates conversions and retargeting

You should stick to meta if it is working for you. Finding another profitable platform will cost you both ad spend and time.

Competition from short video platforms makes Meta Ads' effectiveness more dependent on the speed of content creation. I still keep Meta as the main channel but allocate more test budget on TikTok and YouTube to expand data and avoid depending on one traffic source.

Meta ads are the easiest place to breathe in comparison. The other platforms are fine but the moderation process is still quite difficult

FB is still an attractive place for advertisers because it has a diverse customer base, suitable for businesses from small to large.

Yeah actually — recent stats show TikTok’s average engagement rate is around 4–6%, while Facebook sits closer to 0.1–0.3%. And YouTube Shorts now drives up to 30B daily views globally. So yeah, switching early totally makes sense

short-video platforms are eating attention fast. Testing on TikTok & YouTube keeps your data diverse and reduces risk if Meta’s algo shifts again

All of those platforms have their place depending on what you are advertising. Meta has great targeting, but there are opportunities to be had on all kinds of platforms including very niche ones sometimes.

What is your product btw? As far as i know it's challenged to launch a blackhat campaign on Tiktok

It really depends on the country. In some places, Facebook’s usage has dropped significantly, and the people who still use it tend to be older on average.

Facebook Ads will likely remain one of the main advertising channels in 2026, but its dominance may continue to decline as competition grows. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts are capturing more attention from younger audiences and offering better engagement for certain brands. However, Facebook’s massive user base, advanced targeting tools, and integration with Meta’s ecosystem still make it a powerful option for advertisers. Businesses that focus on detailed audience segmentation and remarketing will continue to benefit from Facebook Ads. In 2026, the smartest strategy will likely combine Facebook with other channels to maximize reach and ROI.
