To me, best era of rap was like 1994-2006...
That's all. And nowadays, newest school feels like there is no even rhythm, or a real melody in it. Some people still do it like old school though. But... Mostly, I don't like the new style.

Not a profession for me. But I made almost 250 beats in years 2008-2014 mostly. Was a passion for me. Also got 20-30 rap songs in the past.

I dont know why the beats made with "only for passion" sound pretty much better than the "professional" ones.
Do you have a YT channel or something? I like to write songs, I try to make my own beats too . Trap and rap mostly. Spanish or Latin trap , people used to call it.
I have recorded in professional studios and have tried myself in stages.
