Are you still targeting the old way? Facebook changed the rules.
Facebook has quietly updated its Ads distribution algorithm.

After testing more than 20 accounts, here's what's really winning:

✅ Creative is king. Static images are "dead" - UGC-style Reels are crushing all CTRs.
✅ Ads are slow. Good creatives only live for 5-7 days, rotating continuously.
✅ AI Targeting is dominating. Broad + Advantage + outperform all manual targeting.
✅ Hook & Story > Offer. Ads must entertain first - sell later.

✅ Retargeting is weaker. Data shrinks → focus on optimizing the front-end funnel.

In short: Forget "tricks", whoever works fast - tests fast - is more creative will win.
2025 is the year of creative & speed, not budget.

Who needs the creative test template + Reels Ads video structure I'm using → comment or inbox, I'll share.

A good test, Hope this brings new results for advertisers
Every year there’s a new “golden formula” — and then three months later everyone says “it’s dead.” The problem isn’t that Facebook’s rules are changing, it’s that it’s coming up with a new algorithm.

Looking forward to your useful articles
UGC, Reels, broad targeting… are all correct, but the core is still the data loop. Whoever understands customer behavior and optimizes creative with real insights will win, not just follow the trend.

I’ve seen the same results — Reels and short UGC outperform every other format. The first 3 seconds really decide everything now.

Everyone says “the first 3 seconds matter”, and still opens videos with brand logos. The hook is in the format – it’s in the storytelling.

Facebook’s moving from targeting precision to creative pattern recognition. It’s all about how the content “feels,” not just who it reaches

Facebook doesn’t “feel” content — it measures viewer reactions. If people scroll past in 0.5 seconds, no matter how “emotional” your creative is, it’s useless data.

Everyone quickly tests and chooses the “golden 3 seconds” video, but if everyone does that, the newsfeed will be full of clones. At that point, the “strong 3 seconds” will no longer have an advantage.
Exactly, I have been seeing this trend clearly in recent months. I switched to UGC-style Reels, did quick testing, and only kept content that had a good hook in the first 3 seconds. Those templates not only saved budget but also helped increase organic reach significantly
