Anyone selling leads to local contractors? Im in the space and I found its a great way to monetize traffic, very profitable to contractors who don't want to deal with digital marketing (all of them) lol. My challenges essentially are of course, getting those guys to close their own leads since most of them kind of just go hey! That'd be $10,000! Do you want it? Oh you'll think about it! Oh ok man just let me know when you're done thinking about it!

Without sales support, even quality leads can go to waste. That's why some choose to manage the calls, and it makes sense.

What do you mean quality leads ? How are they obtained ?

Most home owners get annoyed from repeat callers or spam mails. If you forcing them to sign up for things it's even worse.

Leads without actual backing are worthless to me and many other contractors.

Quality leads are gold, but educating contractors on follow up is key maybe offer simple training or a follow up service to boost their close rates.

no no its too expensive to generate calls, contractors are normally not very business savvy so they wouldnt pay for inbound calls unless it were dirt cheap in which they wouldnt be profitable unless they had an appointment setter there... which most contractors dont have, they kinda just pick up the phone and "yellow!" you know? think homer simpson. i am selling to homer simpson.

I'm not in that space, but one of my mentor taught me how to tackle this issue in general.

The way you handle these shy/backwards devs is by not working with them.

Only work with the biggest 10% developers in the market.

They're in the top 10% because they know how to close, how to follow up, how to provide quotes properly and track leads properly via CRM.

Don't play around with the amateurs.

The hardest part is finding contractors who actually follow up fast You can send them 20 leads but if they don’t answer calls, they’ll blame you.

in US? generating leads for "home service" niches like roofing and remodeling

for us its more generating / winning contracts on construction projects / new builds / developments etc.
They have a company they work with that is specializing in the data center boom. Trying to get their ducks in a row for it is what I understand
