Payment Methods for Replica Products

Hey guys, I sell a replica jacket on my store for $200 and accept payments only using Stripe.

I wanted to ask if anyone is accepting payments using Shopify Payments, or is it too risky?

I was eager to try because it has so many more options - cards, PayPal Wallet, Shop Pay with installments, etc.

Shopify Payments is great overall, but selling replicas can be risky there. They’re pretty strict about branded or look-alike products and accounts can get flagged fast. If you stick with Stripe just make sure your listings don’t violate their terms either.

If you use payment gateways like paypal and such you'd need stealth accs and youd need to cloak them so nott as easy as it seems especially if youre new to this

shopify payments will never work for replicas, as others suggested he need to get a cloaking setup

I've done replica in the past, you can't use any mainstream payment gateways directly. Either use stealth accounts or use cloaking. All of this was too much hassle for me as I was only doing it on a small scale. So I only sold locally and used local digital wallet payments.
