Anyone else seeing weird behavior from Bing recently?

We’ve got several legit sites that used to rank fine. Lately a site will get indexed, show up for a day or two, then vanish completely from search — site:domain.com or url:domain.com returns nothing. Oddly, Bing Webmaster Tools still shows the pages as “Indexed,” and support keeps sending the same template reply:

“Your site did not meet the standards set by Bing the last time it was crawled.”

We’ve tried a lot: single-page sites, multi-page sites, different stacks, handcrafted CSS, Tailwind/Bootstrap, varying keyword placement on test sites, etc. From an SEO perspective the sites are solid and error-free — no noindex, sitemaps are correct, canonical tags fine, server responses normal. Google has no problem with them.

Is this a new Bing filter/bug or is anyone else seeing the same “index → disappear” pattern? Any ideas or working fixes?

Yes, seeing similar weirdness. Bing seems super strict on fresh domains now. Try using an older domain if you have one, or diversifying your hosting IPs. It's like they're looking for more established trust signals before fully listing anything.

So, Cloudflare is not good idea? We are using it on all websites

It doesn’t seem like a crawl issue more like Bing quietly devalues pages it thinks are thin or AI generated even when they’re not.

If anyone understands what's going on with Bing right now and knows how to work around this issue, please reach out to me. I'm willing to show appreciation for any real help.

yeah Bing can't be predirect. my one-line blog posts get indexed in under 2 mins but many a time elborated / long content though more useful takes 1 to 2 day to index/crawl.
