Has anyone noticed ad approvals taking way longer lately?

I’ve had multiple ad creatives stuck in review for 24+ hours, even for safe niches. Earlier, they used to get approved within minutes. Is Facebook tightening reviews again or just a random bug?

Yes we have been noticing that as well. Duplicate the campaign and change new website links, approval will be faster.

Yeah, Facebook’s been super slow lately with reviews. I had a few ads in safe niches (no violations at all) and they still took around 1–2 days to get approved. It’s probably just Meta’s review queue being overloaded again — happens every few weeks. Try duplicating the ad or slightly changing the campaign name, sometimes that triggers a faster re-review.

Yes, I’ve noticed that too. Facebook’s review time has definitely become slower recently - probably due to stricter checks or system delays.

All the ad networks are being stretched to their boundaries as the festive season come close these type of behaviors are normal.

Facebook’s definitely slowing down approvals lately, especially after recent policy updates. Not just a bug expect longer reviews now.

Delays are becoming standard as Facebook tightens ad policies; patience and proactive planning are key to avoid disruptions.

Preparing backup creatives and scheduling ads ahead can help mitigate Facebook's unpredictable review times.

yes i also have this problem maybe because meta is changing algorithm

This depends on the country
If the country you are running your ad in has a strict review policy, it will take longer for your ad to be reviewed

It is true that Facebook ad approval times have slowed down due to stricter checks and potential system delays. However, this is a general market phenomenon! As the holiday season approaches, all advertising platforms are working at full capacity. Such delays are common during the final months of the year.

the review process seems to be tightening up lately, especially for accounts that have been running for a long time or have been restricted. you can try slightly adjusting the caption or duplicating the campaign, which will usually get approved faster without affecting performance.

Yeah, Facebook’s reviews have slowed lately — even clean ads get stuck. I just wait 24–48 hours or duplicate the ad to push it through.

Facebook's policies are always changing, but if your ad does not actually violate the law, then perhaps Facebook has made some mistakes during the censorship process. You can appeal and they will remove it immediately.

I’m seeing the same thing reviews that used to clear fast are dragging on for hours now. Looks like Meta tightened its filters or the system’s just lagging again.

I think they’re doing extra checks on accounts and creatives to reduce policy violations

Facebook is tightening the review, it's not your fault. Recently, many accounts have been stuck for 24-48 hours, including clean industries. It could be due to a scan or a system bug.

✅ Wait 24 hours before submitting a complaint
✅ Don't edit ads continuously
✅ You can test a new clone ad, sometimes it's approved faster

This situation is quite common.

Yes, ad approvals have slowed down recently. Facebook seems stricter with reviews now, even for safe niches. Patience helps, and double-checking ad copy and images reduces the chance of delays.

Currently, many advertisers are experiencing Facebook's slower than usual ad approval, even for safe industries. This could be due to the system tightening censorship, increased number of ads, or temporary errors. It could also be due to account issues, you can try creating a test ad first.

Do you got some of.the ads rejected recently or some other form of penalties on the account ? May be they are manually doing inspection on your account now.
