Everything has happened to us: algorithm changes, waves of demonetisation, and the never-ending "shorts" craze. Some give up, regulations change, and views decline. However, actual creators? They manage to shine despite evolving and adapting. Because passion ultimately outperforms the algorithm.

I agree with you @Henry233 !
Digital world is changing with blink of eye it's necessary for creators to be adaptable if they want to stay in race. Only creators will survive who add value to their audience.

I am trying to start my creative journey but then I'm looking at the rise of AI, and it's like.. Do I really want to?

facts bro algorithms come and go but ppl who actually love creating always find a way to shine its all about consistency and passion at the end of the day

My point of view is quite different you can think of it as a powerful new collaborator do not take it as replacement. If you have unique ideas and human emotional touch these are the high-value elements that AI cannot replicate but it can make the execution much faster. B+ :p

I been hearing that, but is there a chance in 1-2 years that talking heads and most sit down channels will eb replaced. What AI can't replace though is authentic on the ground reporting.

Because I'm looking to go into media.

Facts bro passion always finds a way algorithm can’t stop real creators.

You guys talk like algorithm was fighting against creators. That never was the case, lol.

Edit: oh shit, this guy is a bot. Lol

That’s so true. I’ve seen the same thing, people who were purely chasing trends or quick monetization got burned by every major update, while those who genuinely loved what they were creating just kept adjusting and survived.
I think the difference is mindset. When you treat YouTube as a long term game, every algorithm shift is just another challenge to adapt to, not a reason to quit. I’ve had channels drop from solid traffic to almost nothing overnight, but the ones I cared about the most always came back stronger because I kept improving the content instead of chasing the next “hack.”
In the end, the algorithm might change, but consistency and creativity never really go out of style.

Old creators had advantage that they started early when there was much less competition.

They already have a subscriber base. Their work is much easier.

Yes, Creators who study the data and adapt their content style always end up winning in the long run.

YouTube is making lot of changes. They have started to remove videos of even big creators..It is not longer a reliable way to make money online.

Actual creators put in lot of effort and this YouTube rewards them. You should treat youtube as full time job if you want to make money with it.

You should’ve asked ChatGPT to expand this nonsense even further and then tried selling it on Amazon Kindle! You wouldn’t get any sales, but hey at least it wouldn’t cost you anything.

Thank God you made the edit! Otherwise, I would’ve thought your account got hacked.

Human creators are spending less time and resources to their YT channels

Being authentic on YT, don't pay bills (not life bills but also neither the content production bills)

People are reporting their one week work needed videos are getting 200 views, that YT steals their members money, that their subs are not being notified about their uploads, that every time it's so hard to find an sponsor and subs penalize them if they cut a video for inserting a shot talking about the sponsor,...

Nowadays YT algorithm only reward massive content upload and if you have to upload content every day, you can't create quality you only can create crap and usually crap generated with AI workflows (your creation time is limited)

Exactly — trends shift, monetization rules break, and views tank, but the ones who test, tweak, and stay consistent always bounce back. Platforms reward adaptability more than luck.

Exactly. The algorithm shifts, rules change, but passion and adaptability are what keep creators going strong. Those who evolve with the platform and focus on genuine content always find a way to stand out.

Staying flexible and experimenting with new formats while keeping your core message intact is key to thriving despite the platform’s ups and downs.
