Anyone still getting solid traffic from Reddit in 2025?

Reddit is crazy more difficult than a few years ago, but still worth it.

Reddit is still a solid traffic source in 2025 monthly visits are up 14.7% year over year, with over 500 million active users.

A few years ago, Reddit could drive thousands of visits easily. Now, engagement feels slower. Is it still worth the effort, or has Reddit’s algorithm become too strict for marketers?
Reddit’s algorithm has definitely tightened, but it’s still worth the effort if you focus on value and community engagement.

While Reddit’s tougher now, genuine interaction and niche-specific posts can still generate meaningful traffic if you play by the community’s rules.

Adaptation is key tailoring content to each subreddits vibe can unlock growth despite algorithm changes.

Yeah, I got a money page with affiliate links and I only promote it through reddit. Makes me good money, sometimes I wish reddit wasn't so strict. I'd be rich from reddit, because the audience there is so good, no bots and people always come to reddit for real advice. I've got commissions for $200 a pop from reddit traffic. Really shows the level of quality.

Yeah, Reddit’s tougher now but still worth it. The algorithm favors real engagement over quick boosts. If you post valuable stuff in the right subs and stay consistent, it can still bring solid, long-term traffic.

Its algorithm is optimizing for user retention and ad revenue, similar to other platforms. This means it now prioritizes posts that generate intense, early engagement (upvotes, comments), and it surfaces content from non-subscribed subreddits.

It’s still possible but the game changed a lot. Now it’s more about timing, using the right subreddits, and posting naturally. Quality engagement matters way more than mass posting.

Honestly, Reddit still works but it’s not as plug-and-play as before. You have to blend in more, add real value, and avoid anything that feels like promotion. The algorithm didn’t kill reach; the community just got sharper at spotting marketing. If you play it smart and post genuinely useful stuff, it can still drive solid traffic.

It’s a good thing you don’t have to feel about the way a traffic source is working for you or not since we have analytics software. You can gauge “if it’s worth it” by checking your analytics software

Reddit is the best traffic source in 2025.
Specially in businesses that need reviews / and affiliate.
If you're targetting USA / CANADA markets, it's a great fit.

Still works, but only with niche, high-quality posts; avoid link-heavy content Reddit favors engagement and discussion over direct promotion.

Reddit can still bring traffic, but real growth comes from real talks, not just dropping links.

Reddit’s algorithm is stricter, but smart posting times and niche focus still help a lot.

I'm getting good traffic from Reddit. This is the traffic from a single thread that I setup. It was massive two months back, now reduced a bit from this thread. But other threads compensated it.
