What is the best way to automate instagram posting?

Use an approved scheduling tool (like Buffer, Later, Predis.ai) and keep automation to safe tasks like post scheduling, not mass following/liking

I want to run hundreds of accs but how do i automate this? phone farm?
Don’t use phone farms. Automate safely with official tools (APIs, Business Manager, Workspace, Zapier) and real verified accounts only. Keeps everything stable and compliant.

Yes — use a phone farm or emulator setup with proxies and automation tools (like VMs + API scripts) to safely manage hundreds of accounts.

I tested different approaches over time. Mobile device setups are tempting, but I found the maintenance and risks costly. Instead I leaned on official APIs and reputable schedulers, plus a clear operational playbook: content batches, approval queues, and monitoring. That helped me scale more sustainably without chasing risky “farm” solutions. How many accounts are you aiming for and are they for different brands or the same offer?

If you plan manage 100+ instagram account, avoid phone farms. You can automate posting with reputable schedulers or API based tools that respect instagrams rules. Use trused scheduling tools like meta bussiness suite, later or hootsuite to automate posting. Make sure each account has its own proxy or device and post at natural intervals with some real engagement to stay safe.

If you want to start to automate instagram with a phone farm dont use emulators. Go with real devices. If you want to use android devices use python with uiautomator2 and adb. If you want to go with ios then use appium to automate the phones. If you have any questions let me know i am ready to help you :)

Managing hundreds of accounts is challenging. Forget the 'phone farm' idea for now; it's often more trouble than it's worth. Focus on solid proxies, unique user agents, and a natural activity pattern. Warm up your accounts slowly and ensure your content is always fresh. This is key to longevity.

I want to run hundreds of accs but how do i automate this? phone farm?
Hey @Mr mimsy !
I suggest the safest way to manage multiple accounts is using official Meta partner tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social, they offer bulk scheduling and analytics.
If you choose "phone farms" make sure not to violate Instagram's Terms of Service ,otherwise it will result in permanent bans for all accounts and ...
Best of luck

I want to run hundreds of accs but how do i automate this? phone farm?
I have been stuck in this question for weeks now Just started trying to scale my Instagram accounts but have no clue if phone farms are worth it or if there is a better way.

are phone farms really worth with the set up and operating costs being high? I have no clue and therefore asking

Running hundreds of Instagram accounts manually isn’t practical automation is possible but tricky. The safest route is using Meta’s official API tools (like Business Suite or Creator Studio) for legitimate automation. If you’re running large-scale or non-personal accounts, use dedicated proxies, unique device fingerprints, and scheduling tools (Jarvee, Onlypult, or Meta API integration) to avoid bans.

You can use tools like Meta Business Suite or Later for safe automation. Phone farms work but are risky better to manage accounts with proxies and proper scheduling tools.

You can use tools like Jarvee, Meta API, or custom Python scripts with proxies. Just make sure each account has unique IPs, cookies, and delays to avoid bans.

It’s better to automate through controlled device setups with unique fingerprints, phone farms usually lead to bans and wasted effort.

I manage several Instagram accounts, not for farming, but rather for business purposes.

It's true that to manage more than a thousand accounts, a bot or something similar is better.

But nothing beats human intervention for being undetectable. I would consider training someone and paying them for it. You could find someone in countries where the minimum wage is low and pay them full-time. That's what I usually do for more automated tasks.

It all depends on your goal: increasing followers on the accounts, or simply having many accounts with a high risk of being banned.
