How does "like" youtube service work?

I dont understand, every single panel, when i buy like, they just add a bunch of like into my videos, nothing else, no view, no source at all. How does it even work when like are not coming from views?
It's like 0 view with 100k likes? wtf?
There's a lot of reports that buy "likes" like this will terminated your channel because of fraudulent activity.

they are just fake right? Buying those only destroy my channels. Also buy views doesnt work too, they add 500 views, but there's 0 impresison.

How we tell fake is different vs how youtube tells.
When youtube think its fake, like will be dropped.

that happens because those likes come from fake or automated accounts, not real viewers. It makes your stats look suspicious and can easily get your channel flagged or even terminated.
