How to stop getting flagged for duplicate creatives?

Try changing the headline or description . Maybe use different images or videos too.

Make each ad truly distinct , not just tiny edits. Use different footage or angles, change aspect ratio/thumbnail, rewrite primary text/headline, swap CTAs, and point to different landing pages or UTM parameters. Avoid reusing the same master video across many ads/accounts; batch-create originals instead. If you think Facebook is wrong, submit an appeal with examples and your reasoning.

you should change the creative angle of each ad completely, rather than just making small edits. fb’s system easily detects reused content, which is why you should rework the image, caption, and metadata to make each version truly unique.

Always create unique visuals and copy for each ad instead of reusing existing creatives.

I'm running into the same thing, even when I change a few words or clips it still gets flagged. Do you think it only works if we completely change the creative, like new script or voiceover?

Got it, sounds like I need to build ads from scratch instead of just recycling small parts. I'll try making them more distinct and see if that helps

I had the same problem. Although I changed the content a lot, FB still reported that the audience was saturated. At that time, I couldn't fix it.

You should make more drastic changes to your videos, such as: cropping/adding frames, heavy color correction, changing aspect ratios, and making sure each ad has different copy and audience targeting.

In order for your ads to be approved, all data must be unique for each ad.

Hi there! I totally get how frustrating duplicate content rejections can be! Facebook's AI is really good at detecting similar patterns, so small edits often aren't enough.

Here's what actually works: in Ads Manager, make substantial changes - use completely different hooks in the first 3 seconds of video, change background music, and rewrite ad copy with different angles (not just word swaps). Create 3-5 genuinely unique variations instead of minor tweaks.

Also check "Account Quality" to see if previous violations are making your account more sensitive. Try using different ad formats - mix Reels, carousels, and single images rather than only videos.

What's your current content creation process, and are you testing completely different creative angles or mostly making minor edits to the same concept?

FB's duplicate filter focuses less on small edits and more on identifying repetitive creative structures. You should build fresh angles with unique points of interest, combined with diversifying your target domains and separating your accounts, your rejection rate will drop

I think what you need to do to optimize your ads and avoid duplication is to make drastic changes instead of small edits: completely change the creative angle, do some drastic video processing (crop, color correction, change aspect ratio), and make sure each ad has different copy, target audience, and metadata to make it unique.

Try completely reworking the video or image with fresh angles, new captions, and different messaging to make it feel unique and avoid being flagged.

Facebook keeps rejecting my ads for “duplicate content” even though I edit each video and text slightly. Any proven tricks to bypass this?
Change the video structure slightly and use unique intros, text, and URLs each time. Duplicate creatives trigger Facebook’s filters fast.

CPC spikes are a common trend due to increased CPMs and high market competition during peak seasons, suggesting this is a normal fluctuation on Facebook. While this isn’t necessarily a setup error, to keep costs stable, you’ll need to review your bidding strategy and check for audience overlap.

It happens that it's the cabinets themselves. We have 1 account where one campaign is running, the rest are rejected. Although we are restarting them on a new cabinet, and everything is working well there. Try changing your advertising account
