Bought Reddit accounts banned

A few days ago I bought 10 reddit accounts. All 1 year old, no comment history, no karma. I logged into all of them using differnet IPs and devices and so on, and the next day they were all banned. Not even with ability to appeal, just banned. I got around to changing passwords and adding emails too, still banned.

The only account I was surprised was the one I logged into with my real IP, after restarting router. But still, that mobile device has been used for Reddit in the past, even though I reinstalled the app. And I also logged into it on browser, after clearing cache and cookies.

Anyway I told the guy who sold me the accounts, and he gave me 5 other accounts. The same thing, 1 year old, no comment history etc. So I restarted my router again and logged into an account on a mobile device that was never used on Reddit. I browsed a bit, a few hours later I did a comment and an upvote. All good stuff, surely no one reported me or anything. I uploaded a profile photo.

Today I browsed a bit more, did one more comment. An hour later, account is banned.

In this case there is no way they picked up on anything. Clean home IP, clean device, no excessive posting or anything that would warrant a suspension.

Are the accounts just burned? They're given to me with no email added, at least none that I can see in the account settings.

Home IP is clean, but did you change it before logging in? Clean device for 10 accounts? So you used an anti-detection browser? I always advise against buying accounts without comments anyway, you never know how they were created and they could even be flagged

It must be account related.

Try this: create fresh account on the device you were banned with that bought account.

Use another browser, or browser profile, and see what happens.

This person was likely sold to you with a "burned" account. Request a refund immediately, request transaction records and your account's email/phone number, and if they can't provide it, get your money back. Don't continue working with the same seller; they've likely sold the same accounts to several others.If you're not planning to buy a new account, don't take the risk: create one yourself, add an email and phone number, and check the temperature of your actual browsing views. Before purchasing, ask the seller for account recovery capabilities, screenshots of past activity, and a written guarantee that the account hasn't been shared with anyone. If they don't have these, stay away.

I’ve also run into many cases like that when buying. The reason is usually the account you purchased. They were mass created using untrusted IPs.

Seriously this has been my experience as well, the difference I created the accounts myself my advice:
1) New device never used on reddit
2) New IP/Proxy

Here this makes me think the problem is from the way the accounts were created, the IPs they were initially created with or the device was flagged. Or maybe Reddit is now more advanced they ban accounts when there is a completely new device and IP that logs into an account with no prior history.

Yes, that's the point
The seller is probably just a reseller
And the supplier, very likely using automation tools, bots and flagged devices to generate accounts, very fragile setup, a time bomb that will explode on the buyer hands once they log into those shitty accounts

The seller is probably just a reseller
And the supplier, very likely using automation tools, bots and flagged devices to generate accounts, very fragile setup, a time bomb that will explode on the buyer hands once they log into those shitty accounts

In that case we need a new way to vet sellers, or at least need to test different ones. Reddit clearly has uped their game.
