[Journey] $50,000 in 2026 or I Quit

Goal:
Make $50,000 in 2026 or I quit internet marketing and go back to the 9-5 grind.

About Me:
I've been a internet marketer for 6 years. Had some ups and downs but have been feeling very demotivated lately. I am giving myself 1 year to get it together or quit forever.

Method:
Mostly focused on social media but willing to try anything.

Point Of Journey:
To keep me on track and help each other get rich. Hoping to find others who doing something similar and we can help each other.

I will answer any question and if I didn't it's due to one of these 3 reasons:
1. I already answered a similar question (read entire thread)
2. I consider it spoon-feeding
3. It would reveal too much about my niche/method.

With that said don't be afraid to ask questions or give feedback. Lets help each other make money.

Other then that I will update the journey at least once a week (probably on the weekend) for the next 60 weeks.

Week 1 Update:

I hope everyone had a good and productive week. Here's how week 1 went for me.

The Method:

Very simple method as we try to figure out these social media algorithms.

Taking videos of attractive women from social media sites and reposting them to other social media sites.

I have an iphone and a android phone so we'll see if there is any difference between the two.

Tiktok:

This will be my priority as I think I can figure out the algorithm the fastest.

I did get one viral video but unfortunately i hadn't set up my link yet so it went to waste...

The biggest challenge with Tiktok will be avoiding the duplicate bot and not being appropiate for the FYP


Youtube:

The second site I'm working on is Youtube. I have no idea how the Youtube algorithm works.



I had 1 video get views but that's it. I'll continue posting to see if the views increase.

The other issue is how to drive traffic to my link. Tiktok is easy. You can put a link right in the profile but people on Youtube the link is kind of hidden. I see that people link a long video in their Youtube shorts (since you can't include a link in shorts) and then post the link in that videos description. I guess I'll try that.

Instagram & Facebook:
I'm having issues creating accounts on these two sites. I keep getting verification requests even when i'm just browsing and not posting. Im going have to continue to test here.

Earnings:



First week earnings are $7.77. Not a lot but great to see some profit on the first week.

I think I'm currently earning between $600-$800 a month with some old methods so we have a lot of work to do as we approach 2026.

Week 2 Update:

Nothing too exciting happened this week. Didn't use my time that well which lead to no major breakthroughs.


Did earn a total of $5.60.

I will make 2 changes this week which will hopefully increase my earnings.
1. focus just on tiktok. Until I master Tiktok I won't worry about other social media.
2. Don't thinking, start posting. I will use the draft feature of Tiktok to create a bunch of videos and then post them throughout the day.

Thank you. I am posting videos of fairly attractive women I get from Instagram to Tiktok. I usually add new text and new music to the video before uploading.

Week 3 Update:

I'm feeling like these updates are starting to seem very similar. I'm gonna have to make a breakthrough or this is going to be 1 sad journey.

Earnings:


$6.80 from 50 clicks. I'm pretty happy with the conversation rate so far, we just need to increase the traffic.

Week 4 Goal:

Figure out the view issue.

I'm not getting great views on my videos and I need to figure out why.

I have 4 theories:

1. my content is bad (a possibility but i see worse content go viral)

2. Duplication - somehow Tiktok is recognizing my content is from IG and penalizing me.

3. IP - I'm using my home IP to create and post content. Maybe Tiktok thinks I'm spamming

4. Device shadow ban - I have multiple accounts on each phone. Maybe Titktok recognizes that and is shadow banning me

I hope to get closer to the answer this week

Yes, manual posting to an iphone and a android. I haven't seen any great tools for automated posting.
