How To Use Any Trial Software Forever

This may have been shared before or not but I have been using this method to test fully functional trial programs before I decide on buying it. I am not promoting piracy in any way. If you feel that a program is useful, you must give credit to the author and buy it.

Method:

- What tools / software do I need?

Deep Freeze

- What is Deep Freeze - Search Google

- How do I use it?

Make sure that your PC is configured to boot frozen before launching the trial software. Use the program all you want. Reboot your PC. Use the program as if its your 1st time launching it.

works only if it's not a serversided program (means the program must be local in order to work)

Deep Freeze works most of the times for any trial software that is not serversided when attempting to do something.

might work if it's serversided, depends on what the software does.

If the program checks the license/code with a server every time it starts then this won't work, but for other programs is a solid method, thnx for sharing...

there are more programs like that runsdate , deep freeze , time stopper now u also have to know how to bypass server based verification usally very easy !! if u know what are u doing !

usually... well written programs have good protection and a simple uninstall / reinstall will not do the job

That's why I said "and then clean the registry."

just so you know, there is another twist to the method by using VMWare ThinApp but i won't be discussing that as Portable apps are widely available out there.

if you know what and where to find it in REGEDIT then yes that works but its too time consuming

that's great for programs that use an installer but for those premium zipped bots it wont work

So, they leave traces somewhere in the system but not the registry?

I mostly use runasdate instead of deepfreeze both use different methods so if deepfreeze does not work use runasdate. I am using the trial version of Steven Yap's web 2.0 keyword search tool for months now without paying a bloody dime! TEEHEE and that all thanks to runasdate.

Depends on each software, sometime by just uninstalling them using advance uninstaller I can use it multiple times. Or you can use virtual box and reset it anytime you want.

i even just understand the trial software on based by date when its has instaled,

example:
- IDM, even i have deep freeze, on 14 days later, he always ask the act key.

for this example, you will freeze the pc on the state before you installed the trial
