I tried posting a viral video of a channel, but I didn’t get a single view.

I tried making simple edits, still no views.

My channel currently have 8 videos with no views.

Hi,
Maybe your videos link is not visible to all , send videos links to your known person and try to post that links on social media account also.

You need to learn how to repourpose videos, simple edits dont work the networks detect its repourposed content.

Learn about it searching here in BHW

yes you can reuse content however you have to make sure you are editing it enough that it does not get flagged as just reuploading content. you can try to do this by 2 ways 1. Completely remake the content and only use a small part of the original or use the exact video but then try adding filters, watermarks, or different frame sizes ect

If you want to post reused content, you need to add a lot of uniqueness to the video. Edit the video properly and adjust the length of the video. The views will come gradually.

In my view, copied content often gets blocked by YouTube’s algorithm, and that’s why you didn’t get views.

It is likely that your channel is shadowbanned or the video has not been indexed, you should try changing the title/thumbnail/hashtags, reposting with a new channel to test.

Getting views with reuploaded videos is very hard now platforms push original content more try making unique edits add your own twist and stay consistent Over time your channel can start getting real views.

Getting zero views usually means the platform hasn’t given your channel a chance yet. Copying viral content won’t help algorithms favor originality and genuine engagement. Shift to creating your own unique videos that offer value or entertainment. Also, interact in your niche community to boost your profile’s credibility. Patience is key; consistency and authentic content are what break through..

I don’t think is shadowban, I searched the exact tittle and I found mine.

Sometimes YouTube just doesn’t push new channels right away. Make sure your titles, descriptions, and tags are optimized for search, and try creating your own unique content instead of just reposting. Sharing your videos on social media or forums can also help kickstart those first few views.

Since it usually takes time for new channels to become popular you should post frequently with attention grabbing titles and compelling thumbnails to increase visibility

You will get shadow-banned fast if you keep uploading other people’s content without real changes.

This method has biggest issue of copyright. Your channel will soon get banned.
