Google removed documentation for several structured data types (e.g. course info, estimated salary, learning video, special announcement, vehicle listing) in September, indicating less relevance or usage in SERPs.

You mean like Helpful content update? I think they merged that with the core update since the last helpful content update wiped out a lot of good sites with google content and authority.

Yeah, looks like Google rolled the Helpful Content system into core updates now and that explains why we don’t see it separately anymore.

There was a spam update at the end of Aug that ended a week ago. Apart from it, Google also consistently releases minor updates which are usually not announced.

No there has been no update in September. I think two months have passed without any major update. Next month we might see a new announcement.

Something I noticed but haven’t seen ANYONE talk about is in local seo. I noticed right at the beginning of the update most of my /service-location pages were dropping and instead Google decided to show the core /service page. I know something they did had an effect on local pages because I see it has the same effect on my competitors.
