I’ve been trying a few free ones myself. Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights helped me notice some issues on my site, but I’m still not sure if that’s enough for rankings. Try doing the alphabet soup keyword research method for your initial keywords and cover them. If I were you I would start by getting the Semrush trial and do as much competitor and keyword research as possible during the 14-day trial.

Get started building some free foundation links, without spamming of course. Also try share your posts on relevant platforms, Facebook groups, LinkedIn, reddit or Pinterest for some initial social traffic.

Also improve your page speed and internal linking structure if it's not already perfect. Check gtmetrix or page speed insights, free tools.
