My journey from 0 coding to building my first AI tool

Hey BHW,

Just a week ago I had never coded anything before. Since then, I managed to build my first AI-powered website/software.

It’s designed to help content creators (I’ll keep the details a bit vague for now), and it already has both a free and a pro version. The UI is still very basic, but the core functionality is working.

I’m starting this thread to document my progress, keep myself accountable, and hopefully get some honest feedback along the way. I’m not looking for compliments, I genuinely want to know if this kind of progress (going from zero coding to a working AI tool in a week) is considered impressive? And whether it makes sense to double down and seriously pursue this path, potentially with monetization in mind?

I’ll update here as I keep learning, improving the tool, and maybe testing monetization routes. Any advice or feedback is more than welcome.

What do you do for work like outside the IM/tech? If you never learned to code but in a week have a working mvp ready, it's pretty impressive ngl. Good luck for your journey, i'm definitely following

I’d call that impressive AF, keep going and maybe document the steps, people love seeing beginner-to-creator journeys.
