how to combat downvote botting

my posts are being strategically downvoted to 0 at around 3 downvotes per minute. How can I effectively stop this?

I have thought of a few different ways to stop my account from being downvote botted. Im thinking I will find a way to have him send thousands of downvotes so that it costs him too much to continue downvoting me.

First try to understand what posts they downvote. Do they find them manually or automatically. They may scan all posts in a sub and downvote them. Closing your profile may help but it depends.

Are you posting in NSFW subreddits? If so, it’s pretty easy to spot the pages that are responsible, as they all post in the popular subreddits and have “free” pages of creators unrelated to the content they’re posting. I’d recommend fighting fire with fire, set those profiles on an auto-voter so their posts all get downvotes automatically.

Sadly there’s no perfect fix for downvote bots. The best move is to focus on posting quality content, spread it across different subs, and let organic engagement balance things out. In most cases, the botting fades over time.

It depends on the bot and system behind it. But i've seen reporting it to the admins solving the issue. It doesn't always work though.

That sucks downvote bots are annoying. Sometimes the best move is to keep posting consistently and let real engagement balance it out over time.
