Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into rotating residential proxies like 9Proxy and Iproyal, but I’ve got a few questions I’m hoping you can help with:
  1. Reliability: How reliable are these services when it comes to speed and uptime? I’ve heard mixed things, and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced frequent IP blocks or connection drops during heavy use.
  2. IP Rotation: Do these services give you control over the rotation process, or is it all automated? If it’s automated, how smart is it? Does it do a good job of avoiding blacklisting?
  3. Geo-targeting: How accurate is the geo-targeting? Can you really get IPs from specific locations, or is it more hit-or-miss?
  4. Pricing: Are there any hidden costs, bandwidth limits, or restrictions on the number of IPs you can use over time that I should watch out for?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s actually used these services (or others like them) for scraping, ad verification, or any other commercial uses. Thanks a lot!

Works okay for light stuff, but heavy scraping can cause drops and flags. Also, uptime isn’t really the problem, it’s usually how long the IPs stay clean. And geo-targeting works but can be hit and miss if the pool’s small. Honestly, best move is just to test with a small package first and see how it fits your use case. Best of luck!

9proxy pretty solid, some fellows on this forum rec me it. good speed tho. Geotargeting works most of the time, though not 100% perfect (still better than most). Rotation is flexible and rarely gets me blocked unless I push it too hard. Pricing is clear and fair. Overall its one of the more reliable proxy services I’ve used.

Trust me, Iproyal is better than 9Proxy.
right, IProyal is already well-known in this field. 9proxy is not bad tho, especially its prices are quite good. You have budget, go for iproyal. want an option more affordable, 9proxy still ok

Yes IPRoyal is old and reputable, I have been using their service last around 3 years.

Their proxy pools are quite small and spammed a lot. It depends what you're wanting the proxies for though
