Looking for SEO automations that actually save time in day-to-day work.
What are you doing that cuts the manual tasks and helps you focus on strategy?
If you can, please share your tools, setups, or any knowledge you have about it.
I currently don't automate anything, and it takes too much time and effort and I can't focus on the big picture.

You simply must try N8N. You can set up automation for anything. At the very least, you can write content and publish it on your website with a single click or via a bot in Telegram.

I also like GPT for Sheets.

Which manual tasks are you carrying out today? You don't wan't to introduce new tasks at this stage just because a tool or process has more features than what you currently need.

i think its mostly to upload content to the websites, i wonder how to do it when some claim that AI content might harm the website.

AI systems prefer AI content: https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2415697122

Don't get fooled by the guys still trying to sell 'unique human-written content' and their cheap ChatGPT posts on this forum.

Start with SurferSEO + ChatGPT for quick content drafts.
Use Screaming Frog + Google Sheets + Looker Studio to automate audits & reports.
Ahrefs Alerts or Google Alerts for backlink/brand monitoring.
Also check Zapier for connecting tools (e.g., auto-upload GSC data to Sheets).
Automate the grunt work so you can focus on ranking strategy.

A lot of teams are automating the boring but necessary parts of SEO in 2025. For example, using Screaming Frog + Google Sheets API to auto-pull crawl data into dashboards saves hours on manual audits. Some connect GSC → BigQuery → Looker Studio, so keyword movement and CTR trends update daily without hand exports—Databox reported setups like this cut reporting time by ~40%. Content teams often use AI to cluster keywords into topics, then validate with Ahrefs/Semrush before writing, which reduces research workload by 60–70%. The trick is automating collection + reporting, but keeping strategy and final decisions human.

Automating your SEO is crucial for shifting your focus to high-level strategy, especially in 2025 where velocity matters.
A critical automation is setting up API integrations for bulk data tasks, such as connecting Google Search Console and Google Ads API (for keyword volume) to a spreadsheet, eliminating manual exporting. For day-to-day work, use scraping tools (like Screaming Frog or custom scripts) to instantly audit technical issues and identify content gaps, rather than doing page-by-page checks.

Use Python scripts or no-code tools like Bardeen/Axiom for: data scraping (rank tracking, ideas), reporting (auto-pulling data to Sheets), on-page audits (meta titles, broken links). Automate the boring stuff to focus on strategy.

This suspension usually happens when Google sees multiple accounts tied to the same user or billing setup, even if the campaigns were harmless.

Use automation for repetitive SEO tasks like keyword clustering, internal linking, reporting, and indexing. Tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Keyword Cupid, LinkWhisper/LinkBoss, IndexMeNow, and Zapier workflows can save hours so you can focus on strategy instead of manual work.
