I have some money to use for my US medical Residency application but that'd be by late 2027.

Do you think it's advisable to use this money and Buy BTC?
Could it crash?

It's very volatile. Personally, if you had 5 years instead of 2, I'd make a strong argument of a near certain return.

2 years, still likely, but by no means certain. I buy myself with a view to a 3-5 year hold period. I don't play short.

This, In crypto you never know what happens next, its safe to buy it and hold for atleast 3-5 years minimum.

Should I buy bitcoin - to this question I wanted to say yes immediately.

But when you mention a timeframe restriction then sensible advise has to be no - as others have said, my advice is the same - only put money in bitcoin if you are happy to leave it there for at least 4-5 years. Otherwise the volatility and the cycles make it very risky.

But if you have the longer period to invest it then my answer would be yes - put everything that you can afford into it.

I remember when Bitcoin was US$17000 and many people were asking if it is the right time to buy. If you intend to hold it long-term, then go ahead and buy now.
